Business categories listed in the table below among the high-tech industry in accordance with Clause 1, Article 5, Industrial Development Act, high-tech business categories in accordance with Article 15, Industrial Cluster Development and Factory Establishment Act, and high-tech industry subject to tax exemption related to Article 121-2, Restriction of Special Taxation Act, among 5 manufacturing business categories based on the sub-categories on the Korean Standard Industrial Classification List.

    • Information and communication industry including software consulting/development/supply, computer system design and consulting in accordance with Clause 3, Article 6, ¡¸Enforcement Decree of Industrial Cluster Development and Factory Establishment Act¡¹.
    • Venture firms specified in Clause 1, Article 2, ¡¸Act on Special Measures for the Promotion of Venture Businesses¡¹ and the cluster facilities of venture firms specified in Clause 4 of the same Act.
    • Founders specified in Clause 2, Article 2, ¡¸Support for Small and Medium Enterprise Establishment Act¡¹ and start-up incubation center specified in Clause 7 of the same Act.
Requirements for Move-in
  • Manufacturing business (plant) satisfying the requirements for moving into an industrial complex in accordance with Article 6, Enforcement Decree of Industrial Cluster Development and Factory Establishment Act and included in the target business categories in accordance with Article 2 of the same Act.
  • Knowledge industry and information and communication-related industry in accordance with Article 3 or Clause 2, Article 6, Enforcement Decree of Industrial Cluster Development and Factory Establishment Act.
Restriction in Move-in
  • Simple manufacturing or processing business which cuts, peels, marinates in salt, ripens or boils raw materials to the extent that the original shapes can still be recognized.
  • Business categories that may interrupt the operations of neighboring companies and environment by discharging harmful materials including bad odor caused by manufacturing processes or air or water pollutants.

  • Move-in into the industrial complex is permitted for facilities using or discharging other specific harmful substances, bad odor or VOC substances but are excluded from business categories prohibited from move-in through discussion with a licensing or approval organization.
